When purchasing a chainsaw it is important to make the right choice based on your needs and tasks. There are three types of chainsaw drives. Battery chainsaws are very mobile and ideal for light to medium pruning work. They are environmentally friendly and make less noise. For larger jobs and longer work periods a petrol chainsaw may be the best choice due to its power and runtime. Electric chainsaws are ideal for small gardening jobs and require less maintenance.
