STIHL injection

High performance in a compact design. The electronic fuel injection control unit continuously calculates the correct fuel supply and the ideal ignition timing. The injection takes place directly in the engine crankcase via the injection valve. In addition the sensors measure the air pressure and the internal and external temperature and send this information to the control unit. The determined values make it possible to determine the optimum amount of fuel and the ignition sequence. Your device delivers more power but is comparable to engines without injection in terms of weight and installation space.

Sensor-controlled fuel metering

In addition to an outside temperature sensor the MS 500i also has a pressure and temperature sensor on the engine. This measures the ambient pressure during starting and analyses the engine temperature and the pressure in the crankcase during operation. The electrical voltage generator provides information about the required speed. The control system processes all this data and thus adapts the operation to the operating conditions. The fuel is thus perfectly metered which ensures optimum and fast operation.

Easy starting hot or cold

Because there is no fixed starting position and the fuel pump is easily accessible starting is a lot easier.
