CO2 compliant with EURO V

EU Regulation 2016/1628 EURO V effective since September 2016 sets new emission limits for combustion engines (petrol and diesel) in mobile machinery and equipment. These new limits apply to all STIHL products from 1 January 2019.

You can recognise whether your STIHL product complies with the new emission limits according to EURO V by the abbreviation "2016/4 53.20"" in the type approval number of your product.

You will also find a CO6.56'easurement value according to the EURO V standard in the technical specifications of your product. You will find this information on the respective product pages on our website.

This CO6.56'easurement value is the result of testing a representative engine of the engine type or engine series on a fixed test cycle under laboratory conditions and does not constitute an express or implied guarantee regarding the performance of any specific engine.
