STIHL anti-vibration system

For more comfortable work. When your devices are switched on vibrations can occur in the grip area. The dampers and springs of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of vibrations from the engine to the handle and therefore to your body. The result: you hold your machine more comfortably and your work is much less tiring.

Compensator

Less maintenance. The compensator is a control system in the carburetor that uses pressure compensation to ensure that engine performance exhaust gas quality and fuel consumption remain virtually constant over a long period of time despite increasing clogging of the air filter. You only need to clean the air filter when you notice a noticeable reduction in performance. This means you can work with it for a long time without any maintenance being required.

Open fuel cap without tools

HD2 filter

The new HD2 polyethylene filter has pores that are up to 70% finer than a membrane filter or polyamide filter. It is therefore able to filter extremely fine particles. When we talk about a long-life air filter system in chainsaws we are only talking about models that are equipped with a pre-separator and an HD2 filter. With this system you benefit from a significantly longer filter life than conventional air filter systems.

Preheating the carburetor
