STIHL protection for metal cutting toolseffectively protects against cutting waste and other small stonesthat can become loose and be thrown away under hedges or bushes during mowing and pruning work. When using sharp cutting tools it is also mandatory for your safety to wear suitable protective equipment. Before you start working with a metalworking tool make sure you have the correct guard on your STIHL trimmer or brushcutter. This STIHL guard for metalworking tools is not suitable for use with circular saw blades. For this it is best to use the STIHL circular saw guard.

You can also use it with the STIHL FS 560 brushcutter (which is definitely no longer available).
