Optimal cutting
To cut thin, continuous sods, the blade was positioned behind the tracks. During loosening, the sod can move freely and is no longer pressed down by the machine. Thanks to the coaxial eccentric drive, the blade makes smooth horizontal cutting movements. This allows for better depth control.
Optimal grip
Sod is preferably cut on moist ground. The tracks have a larger contact surface with the soil, which ensures maximum grip and better traction.
Optimal maneuverability
The track drive is hydrostatic. The travel speed of each track can be controlled steplessly, allowing the machine to take corners smoothly and even rotate around its axis.
Optimal operating comfort - utility knife
To bring the digging knife to working depth, one engages the strength of the leg muscles, as this is done with the foot.
Optimal operating comfort - vibration-dampened steering wheel
The steering wheel has vibration dampers to increase operator comfort.
Optimal operating comfort - joystick
Operating the Turfaway is child's play. The left hand operates the traction clutch and the knife drive. The right hand is free to steer the machine via a centrally located joystick.
Optimal cutting - depth setting
The working depth can be adjusted quickly and easily with a single lever and a clear diagram.
60 cm width
The unique concept of the ELIET Turfaway 600 allows for the quick and precise loosening of thin sod. The unique construction of this tracked sod cutter ensures a stable machine with optimal ground grip, providing maximum comfort for the operator. Thanks to the increased traction provided by the tracks, the ELIET Turfaway can cut sods 60 cm wide.
