LARGE INPUT FUNNEL
What stands out about the feed hopper is the wide bottom that does not narrow towards the feed roller. The open top of the hopper creates a clear support table 1 m long. The feed threshold is at hip height. The slightly sloping hopper bottom improves the ergonomics of the feeding operation and reduces the kick-back effect.
FOLDABLE BLOWER TUBE
When folded down, the blow-off pipe towers high above the machine. However, during transport, the blow-off pipe creates significant air resistance that unnecessarily increases the vehicle's fuel consumption. Therefore, ELIET engineers ensured that the blow-off pipe can be easily folded down and clamped in place. This creates a streamlined machine that, with a height of 1.85 m, remains perfectly within the vehicle's wake.
LOW MAINTENANCE
Under the motto “FAST PITSTOP”, the machine was designed so that it can be dismantled in record time to access crucial maintenance points. In most cases, no tools are required for this. This allows for a quick check-up or routine maintenance to be carried out after every workday. It also lowers the threshold for slightly more extensive maintenance. In this way, the machine remains in optimal condition to deliver top performance every workday.
<750 KILOGRAMS
Despite its impressive shredding capacity, the Mega Prof remains a lightweight. ELIET engineers managed to keep the weight below 750 kg. This means a standard B driving license is sufficient to transport the shredder on public roads. Thanks to this low curb weight, the Mega Prof can be towed by just about any vehicle. Furthermore, the excellent weight distribution allows the machine to be moved quite easily by hand as well.
