STURDY CHASSIS
Chipping wood is no small feat. The forces involved in the machine are quite intense. To ensure a chipper has a long lifespan, no compromises should be made on the quality and durability of the materials used. ELIET chippers, from small to large, are all built to professional standards. The Maestro Country is an example of this. The steel chipping housing is fully welded into the tubular frame. The feed hopper of the ELIET Maestro Country is also made of steel.
LOW NOISE
Out of concern for the environment, ELIET always strives for harmony between the machine and its surroundings. To dampen the noise nuisance caused by this chipper in operation, the chipping chamber was constructed with double walls. The sound-dampening material installed between them stifles the drumming effect of the chips on the walls. With this intervention, the noise level could be reduced by a few dB.
VIBRATION DAMPER
The Maestro Country was developed for larger city gardens. The size and thickness of the pruning waste fed into the shredder will grow along with the garden over the years. To ensure lasting enjoyment of the Maestro Country's performance, the motor base is durably supported on vibration dampers. The blade shaft support bearing is also elastically mounted. This allows excessive load to be absorbed to the maximum extent.
COLLECTION BAG
The fine chips spewed out by the MAESTRO Country are the basic material for what will later become nutritious compost. To ensure not a single chip goes to waste, they are immediately collected in a giant collection bag. The contents of a full collection bag (80 L) fill more than a wheelbarrow. The chips do not always have to go into the compost bin; they can also be spread as a fertile mulch layer under the plants in the garden.
VIEWING GLASS
To check if the collection bag is full, a viewing window is provided in the top plate of the chassis.
STANDARD CALIBRATION SIEVE
Thanks to its special shredding system, the ELIET Maestro can effortlessly handle thick branches as well as fine, voluminous pruning waste from hedges and shrubs, for example, without distinction. Leafy green waste from flower borders or the vegetable garden can also be processed together. Autumn leaves can also go through the shredder!
SIEVE FOR LEAVES AND MOIST PRODUCTS
If one intends to shred exclusively such moisture-containing green waste, ELIET recommends replacing the standard calibration sieve with an optional “sieve for leaves and moist products” (Art. code MA 001 052 001) to prevent possible clogging.
COMPACT STORAGE
To easily transport the Maestro in the trunk of a vehicle, the feed hopper can be completely removed. This is done in an instant and requires no tools. This feature is also particularly useful for storing the machine as compactly as possible in the garage or a storage room after use.
