STURDY CHASSIS

A scarifier combs through every square centimeter of your lawn. It is therefore quite evident that the machine brings some stones to the surface in the process. A sturdy chassis is your direct protection against all the loose debris. ELIET takes no risks in this regard either and therefore resolutely opts for a 3 mm thick sheet steel chassis that has been securely welded together with the precision of robots.

MUSSEL CHOICE

Anyone who chooses the professional version of the E501 knows exactly what they want. Because you, as a professional user, rightly have higher demands, ELIET has developed two other blade types in addition to the standard fixed blades. These can improve performance and work quality under specific working conditions. The choice is yours!

VERTICAL BELT TENSION

To disengage the blades, ELIET does not use a classic tensioning pulley that constantly causes malfunctions. Instead, ELIET developed the ‘vertical belt tensioning’. With this system, the motor plate is lifted by means of a lever mechanism, thereby tensioning the belt. This ensures the belt retains its natural shape even under load, significantly extending its service life. The two pulleys engage only on the inside of the belt, protecting the outside from wear. Consequently, a belt very rarely needs to be replaced on a professional ELIET scarifier.

STEPLESS HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

The standard working depth is 2 mm. This ensures minimal braking of the blades, allowing them to lift moss and thatch from the turf at full speed. The blades do not cut through the roots, which significantly reduces the lawn's recovery time after scarification. Setting the depth correctly requires a very finely adjustable depth control. For this purpose, the E 501 Pro features stepless adjustment on each front wheel. This allows a uniform depth to be set along the entire blade axis.

DEPTH ADJUSTMENT ON REAR WHEELS

The ELIET E501 Pro features a set of Permanent Pointed Blades™. Among other characteristics, these blades exceed a service life of 100 hours. Whether fixed, removable, or double dut blades, it is only logical that you want to use them up completely. Since the adjustment capability on the front wheels alone is not sufficient, ELIET has also provided depth adjustment on the rear wheels.

ALUMINUM WHEELS

Working comfort means getting the job done with minimal effort. In this regard, ELIET pampers the user of the E501 PRO. Large wheels with lightweight aluminium rims fitted with a supple natural rubber tread ensure that this machine rolls across the lawn effortlessly. Each wheel is equipped with two large ball bearings. These “heavy duty” wheels can withstand the dusty conditions in which these machines constantly have to operate. The wide tread of the wheels reduces the risk of rutting on wet lawns.

WHEEL SCRAPS

If scarifying a waterlogged lawn is performed early in the spring, the loosened moss easily sticks to the wheels, causing the machines to bump across the lawn, which is clearly visible in the raking result. To prevent this, ELIET fits wheel scrapers to the wheels of its professional scarifiers. This immediately sweeps adhering debris off the wheels.

RUBBER MUDGUARD

Even though landscapers usually wear professional workwear and sturdy shoes, ELIET takes no risks when it comes to safety. The wide rubber guard at the rear of the machine catches all dust, sand, and potential stones stirred up from the ground by the blades. The mud flap is suspended by a chain and obediently follows every movement of the handlebars. Furthermore, the mudguard can always be adjusted to the correct height, depending on the thickness of the moss carpet emerging from underneath the scarifier.

FLOATING PUSH BARRIERS

Especially in the spring, when the grass awakens from its winter sleep, scarifying occupies a significant place in the gardener's schedule. Therefore, attention was paid to all elements that cause fatigue. The floating push handle is an example of how optimal working comfort was ensured. This handle closely follows any unevenness in the path, thereby neutralizing arm strain.
