STURDY CHASSIS

Even though this E401 is the smallest scarifier in the ELIET range, it is capable of outstanding performance. Consequently, this scarifier is frequently put to the test in common applications, such as rental work. Its robust construction is therefore a guarantee of its durability. For the safety of the operator as well as to protect bystanders from potential falling stones, the blade shaft is suspended in a thick steel housing.

FIXED BLADES

An ELIET scarifier with a 40 cm working width features a rotor on which 14 fixed blades are mounted. Each blade has two blade points, causing the blade to make two raking movements with every rotation of the shaft. Furthermore, the blades are mounted in a spiral so that they do not constantly touch the ground simultaneously, thereby avoiding the uprooting of grass clumps.

BIG WHEELS

The E401 features wheels with a diameter of 20 cm. Large wheels roll much more smoothly and are less susceptible to uneven terrain. The nylon rims are impact-resistant, and the roller bearings are, moreover, quite resistant to sand and dust released during scarifying.

STEPLESS FRONT WHEELS

The adjustment on the front wheels is stepless. Because the height adjustment must be set individually on each front wheel, you are also assured that the cutter shaft has the correct depth setting across the entire working width.

REAR WHEEL DEPTH ADJUSTMENT

You can choose from several fixed positions for the rear wheel height adjustment. Thanks to this dual adjustment option, you can fully wear down the blades.

SPACIOUS COLLECTION BAG

Anyone who scarifies efficiently creates a lot of cleanup work for themselves. ELIET lends a helping hand with the collection bag on the E401. The wide collection opening ensures the bag fills well. The capacity of over 60 liters in this collection bag can collect moss from several tens of meters. This conveniently saves you the tedious chore of cleaning up.

RUBBER MUDGUARD

Even when working without a collection bag, the large volume of raked moss must be quickly removed from under the chassis, without, however, exposing the operator to the projection of the blades. The well-dimensioned rubber mud flap therefore effectively catches all splashing dust and sand.

VERTICAL BELT TENSION

Trouble-free operation year after year was the starting point in the development of the vertical belt tensioning system. Thanks to this system, the belt retains its natural shape even during operation. As a result, belt wear is minimal, which significantly extends its service life.

FOLDABLE STEERING WHEEL

You can easily fold down the machine's push handle. This way, the Eliet E401 does not take up much space in your garage or storage room, or in the trunk of your car.
