Every ELIET overseeding combination is equipped as standard with Permanent Pointed Blades™. Thanks to revolutionary technology, the blades develop a self-sharpening effect, allowing them to retain their point throughout their entire service life. Since these blades always remain pointed, you can wear them down completely without sacrificing efficiency. These unique ELIET blades guarantee a service life of at least 100 hours.
KNIVES
The heavy work on this ELIET machine is performed by the 45 cutting discs underneath. Specially hardened blades cut grooves into the lawn soil at intervals of 10 to 15 mm. The blades rotate over the top, so that the milled soil, thatch, moss, and grass are lifted from the lawn. This method results in clean grooves that better capture and hold the grass seed. The ideal blade thickness for overseeding is 3 mm.
EFFICIENCY
The lawn rejuvenation treatment is easy to calculate, the driving speed is constant thanks to the wheel drive, and the seeding rate can be set quite precisely. The rejuvenating effect of an overseeding treatment is noticeable within 14 days provided there is sufficient rainfall.
EASE OF USE
Overseeding is not a cumbersome lawn treatment. After clearing away the debris from an intensive scarifying session, you can get to work. The DZC 450 is very easy to operate. Although the machine has a working width of 450 mm, this overseeder remains compact in size and, thanks to the roller drive, easy to maneuver. Full operation can be controlled from the steering wheel (engaging blades, engaging drive, opening seed spreader, setting to working depth).
