STEPLESS HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
The standard working depth is 2 mm. This ensures minimal braking of the blades, allowing them to lift moss and thatch from the turf at full speed. The blades do not cut through the roots, which significantly reduces the lawn's recovery time after scarification. Setting the depth correctly requires a very finely adjustable depth control. For this purpose, the C550 Collector features stepless adjustment on each front wheel. This allows a uniform depth to be set along the entire blade axis.
WHEEL SCRAPS
If scarifying a waterlogged lawn is performed early in the spring, the loosened moss easily sticks to the wheels, causing the machines to bump across the lawn, which is clearly visible in the raking result. To prevent this, ELIET fits wheel scrapers to the wheels of its professional scarifiers. This immediately sweeps adhering debris off the wheels.
55 cm working width
A working width of 55 cm limits the number of work strips.
Blades turn against the direction of travel
Moreover, this traction allowed ELIET to rotate the blades in the opposite direction to the direction of travel without compromising working comfort. As a result, the blades grip the thatch layer even better and throw it over the top. This increases the efficiency of scarifying by up to 30%. After all, the particularly fine blades feature Permanent Pointed Blade™ technology and ensure minimal damage to the turf.
Self-driving
The C550ZR is self-propelled. It is powered by a Honda GX200 engine producing 6.5 hp. An additional advantage is that the machine runs on a rubber roller. This roller flattens small irregularities in the lawn and leaves an aesthetically pleasing striped pattern.
"Collector"
The “C” in the machine’s name stands for “Collector,” which refers to “collecting.” This is where the innovation of this C550 lies. The extracted material is projected by the blades into a discharge channel. An Archimedes screw rotates inside this channel, transporting it to the side of the machine. The moss is thus collected on a narrow berm. At the next work pass, this berm can be picked up by the machine and, together with the raked material from the second pass, deposited in a single berm onto the first pass. In this way, the C550ZR can collect moss and thatch from a 1-meter working width on a single berm. It goes without saying that this results in enormous time savings for the landscape contractor during cleanup.
