STURDY CHASSIS

Clearing leaves is of crucial importance in the autumn. Just consider how leaves can clog drainage systems or the traffic chaos they can cause. In the interest of everyone's safety, one must be able to rely on reliable machines. ELIET took this necessity to heart and built a durable leaf blower that can be used continuously and without fail throughout the entire autumn.

ALU FAN

The air displacement is generated by a large fan impeller. This was manufactured from lightweight aluminum. Due to the low weight of this impeller, hardly any inertial forces are experienced on the machine. Furthermore, the motor experiences little strain in maintaining a constant speed, resulting in low consumption. This fan was balanced to within a gram using a special test bench in the factory. As a result, there is no imbalance that could cause vibrations.

ANGLED TURBINE

As the wind leaves the nozzle, the airflow diverges. The blown leaves are carried along in this airflow. With a conventional blower, this causes a portion of the leaves to constantly end up behind the machine, on the path that has already been blown clean. The advanced design of the ELIET BL 450 E, however, takes this into account. Due to the angled arrangement of the turbine, the leaves are always blown away at an angle forward. This gives the operator better control over the cloud of blown leaves and allows for very precise direction of the deposition.

WINDRICHTERS

To clear leaves very efficiently, the generated wind must be directed very precisely. ELIET developed a blower nozzle that offers the operator enormous freedom. If he chooses to let the wind blow to the side, he can use a small lever on the handlebar to direct the airflow either close by to blow loose clinging leaves, or to direct the wind far away to let the blown leaves be carried along by the airflow.

ERGONOMIC HANDLEBAR

A striking feature of the ELIET BL 450 E is the long steering arm. This was a deliberate choice made by the designers. Thanks to this long lever, the operator can easily tilt the machine to drive over obstacles such as curbs, tree roots, etc. Furthermore, the machine must be highly maneuverable to smoothly direct the turbine's airflow. With the help of this long steering arm, it requires little force from the operator to permanently change the blower's direction of travel.

BIG WHEELS

The blower runs on three large, double-bearing wheels. Anyone out and about with such a blower for at least 8 hours a day in the autumn will certainly appreciate the comfort of these large wheels. The pneumatic tires provide excellent suspension, making it pleasant to drive. The large swivel wheel at the front smoothly follows every steering movement made by the operator. Thanks to the large wheels, the machine has low ground pressure, meaning it hardly sinks when having to navigate muddy paths.

TURBINE SOUND DAMPING

In addition to motor noise, sound is generated by the interaction of the impeller and air turbulence. To minimize sound radiation from the turbine housing, a sound-dampening rubber layer was applied around the casing.

Bladder Nose

One of the features that distinguishes this ELIET blower from others is the multifunctional discharge nozzle. This recent development allows the side blowing direction to be switched to a frontal one in an instant. With a frontal blowing direction, the airflow is split, so that part of the flow is deflected to the front right, thereby cleaning a machine-wide strip.
