STURDY CHASSIS
A scarifier combs through every square centimeter of your lawn. It is therefore quite evident that the machine brings some stones to the surface in the process. A sturdy chassis is your direct protection against all the loose debris. ELIET takes no risks in this regard either and therefore resolutely opts for a 3 mm thick sheet steel chassis that has been securely welded together with the precision of robots.
STEPLESS HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
The standard working depth is 2 mm. This ensures minimal braking of the blades, allowing them to lift moss and thatch from the turf at full speed. The blades do not cut through the roots, which significantly reduces the lawn's recovery time after scarification. Setting the depth correctly requires a very finely adjustable depth control. For this purpose, the E600 Compactor features stepless adjustment on each front wheel. This allows a uniform depth to be set along the entire blade axis.
VERTICAL BELT TENSION
To disengage the blades, ELIET does not use a classic tensioning pulley that constantly causes malfunctions. Instead, ELIET developed the ‘vertical belt tensioning’. With this system, the motor plate is lifted by means of a lever mechanism, thereby tensioning the belt. This ensures the belt retains its natural shape even under load, significantly extending its service life. The two pulleys engage only on the inside of the belt, protecting the outside from wear. Consequently, a belt on a professional ELIET scarifier very rarely needs to be replaced.
DEPTH ADJUSTMENT ON REAR WHEELS
The ELIET E600 Compactor features a set of Permanent Pointed Blades™. Among other characteristics, these blades exceed a service life of 100 hours. Since the adjustment capability on the front wheels alone is not sufficient, ELIET has also provided depth adjustment on the rear wheels.
ALUMINUM WHEELS
Working comfort means getting the job done with minimal effort. In this regard, ELIET pampers the user of the E600 Compactor. Large wheels with lightweight aluminium rims fitted with a supple natural rubber tread ensure that this machine rolls across the lawn effortlessly. Each wheel is equipped with two large ball bearings. These "heavy duty" wheels can withstand the dusty conditions in which these machines constantly have to operate. The wide tread of the wheels reduces the risk of rutting on wet lawns.
WHEEL SCRAPS
If scarifying a waterlogged lawn is performed early in the spring, the loosened moss easily sticks to the wheels, causing the machines to bump across the lawn, which is clearly visible in the raking result. To prevent this, ELIET fits wheel scrapers to the wheels of its professional scarifiers. This immediately sweeps adhering debris off the wheels.
PATENTED DRAIN AND COMPACTOR TECHNOLOGY
The patented discharge and compactor technology in the E600 scarifier solves the classic disadvantage of a quickly filling collection bag. By compressing the moss in the collection bag, the number of emptying cycles is reduced.
The knife system with integrated blades does not project the moss directly into the collection bin but throws it into a hopper formed by two conveyor belts rotating in opposite directions. The brushing effect and the extra throwing force of the knife system ensure that all the moss is projected powerfully and deep into the machine-wide hopper.
The two counter-rotating conveyor belts carry the moss along and drive it deeper into the hopper wedge, so that it is compressed between the conveyor belts. This hopper empties into the collection bag and spits the compressed moss into it.
The moss has already been compressed, so it loses its voluminous structure, which means the collection bag is filled with matter rather than air. The two conveyor belts continuously feed new waste into the bag, pushing the existing waste further and further back, ensuring the collection bag is filled optimally.
No backflow of waste is possible, so the compression of the material in the collection bag increases as more material is added.
MUSSEL CHOICE
Through more than 20 years of experience, ELIET has developed three blade types, each with its specific characteristics. It is therefore important to choose the blades that best suit the type of lawn you deal with most often.
The blade system of the E600 compactor features 36 Double Cut™ blades that are spaced very close together. The name refers to the double number of blades across the working width. These blades are thinner (1.5 mm thick) and arranged in a spiral spiral. This configuration is ideally suited for golf courses and high-quality turf or ornamental lawns. The Double Cut blades are manufactured from a harder base material. Although they are considerably thinner, they remain permanently sharp for at least 100 hours.
During the pass with the E600 compactor, very intensive scarification is achieved and a maximum volume of moss is loosened. Because the blades rotate against the direction of travel, this raking efficiency is further increased. Moreover, these blades are equipped with self-sharpening points based on the principle of Permanent Pointed Blades™, resulting in guaranteed efficiency. Thanks to its wheel drive, this scarifier maintains a constant forward speed: less tiring for the operator and even more time savings!
WHEEL DRIVE
To ensure the operator does not experience the strain of pushing the machine forward, the E600 compactor is equipped with wheel drive. Therefore, it is not the man but the machine that primarily determines the working speed, which in turn benefits the yield in m²/h.
