The MS 201 TC-M pruning chainsaw is the ideal tool for all yourtree nursery workThe lightweight chain guide helps reduce the overall weight of the machine providing aparticularly comfortable and efficient working. The STIHL MS 201 TC-M is also avery powerful thermal pruning chainsaw.

It is powered by a STIHL 2-MIX engine with an output of 1.8 kW (2.4 hp). It also features STIHL M-Tronic technology which always guarantees optimum engine performance. Regardless of the operating conditions of the machine M-Tronic determines the ideal ignition timing and the exact amount of fuel required precisely and electronically. The STIHL ElastoStart device makes starting the MS 201 TC-M easier. It reduces jerking and thus contributes to a smooth start of the machine.

In addition the machine is equipped with a STIHL 3/8.01''-PS chain that guarantees high cutting performance. DEcaptured nutson the sprocket cover ensure quick and easy chain changes.

STIHL anti-vibration system

Compensator

STIHL M-tronic

STIHL 4-channel technology

Prison conductor protection

The guide guard is permanently attached to the chainsaw. It is equipped with two suspension rings that allow the pruner to attach the guide bracket to his harness with a cable. This is considerably longer and has a large insertion width that also allows the claw to be covered. This prevents injury or damage to the equipment.

Captured nuts

From now on you won't lose the sprocket nuts when replacing the chain guide. The MS 261 is the first STIHL chainsaw to be equipped with captive nuts.

Retractable hook
