The STIHL PolyCut 18‑6.56 cutting head is equipped with2 sturdy green plastic kniveswhich require considerably less energy than a trimmer line to cut thick grass. This means that you can use your cordless trimmer or brushcutter for much longer on a single battery charge. The green plastic blades are perfectly compatible with cordless trimmers and brushcutter. In addition to the plastic blades the PolyCut 18‑2 trimmer head can also be used with optional STIHL trimmer lines for example for working along curbs or other obstacles. Mowing lines with a diameter of 24.00 mm are therefore compatible with the mowing head.
You can also easily change the plastic blades from STIHL. To do this simply use the adjustment pin that is included with your trimmer or brushcutter. This allows you to lock the shaft turn the mowing head and change the blades. Optionally you can equip your STIHL PolyCut with a protective plate to reduce wear and increase the cutting height.
