To reduce noise and significantly increase fuel economy when mowing thick grass with your brushcutter the PolyCut 48-2 trimmer headis equipped with 2 sturdy plastic bladesinstead of a cutting line. This means that you can use your cordless brushcutter for much longer on one battery charge. In thermal brushcutter the use of plastic blades results in lower fuel consumption compared to mowing with cutting line. The cutting head also comes with6 replacement plastic blades. You can also optionally equip the STIHL PolyCut 48-2 with aCutting line of 24.00 mm or 27.00 mmin diameter particularly suitable for work along sidewalks or other obstacles.

The plastic blades can also be easily changed. After locking the shaft with the locking head supplied with your trimmer or brushcutter you can unscrew the cutting head and easily change the blades. To reduce wear and increase the cutting height the STIHL PolyCut 48-2 is equipped as standard with aprotective plate.

The STIHL PolyCut 48-2 trimmer head is compatible with the following STIHL brushcutters:

• STIHL FS-311
• STIHL FS 360

You can also use this trimmer head with the STIHL FS 160 STIHL FS 220 STIHL FS 300 and STIHL FS 350 brushcutters which are no longer available.

Note:Cutting heads must only be used with a compatible cutting tool guard.
